Project Manager Cable

Professional leadership of the project team as well as operational management of resources from specialist areas and business units Creation, monitoring and adaptation of project schedules incl. Implementation of risk mitigation strategies Budget and cost control and ensuring compliance with the budget framework Establishing a project report including decision, information, chance and risk structure Active problem and expectation management including first escalation level Implementation of the project order taking into account the program objectives and strategic specifications Implementation of the project order taking into account the programme objectives and strategic requirements Ensuring complete and correct project documentation including Transfer to the operation Implementation of the procurement and cooperation strategy and management of suppliers at project level Ensuring compliance with laws, standards, regulations and HSE policies and zero-harm principles Perception of the client's obligations and execution of legally safe HSE incident investigations Electrotechnical design of the DC and LWL cables with the Engineering department Ensuring compliance with cable-related electrotechnical contractual contents Creation of technical specifications on cable-related electrotechnical topics (e.g. grounding, interfaces, maintenance)

Complete study of electrical engineering, energy engineering, civil engineering or comparable qualification At least 5 years of experience in managing infrastructure or cable projects Multiannual experience in project management of HGÜ and High voltage cable projects Knowledge of cable technology (production and assembly of clothing) Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. VDE, DIN) Certification as Project Manager (PMP or IPMA) Experience with industry-standard IT software, especially CDE Enterprise and Jira Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing High readiness for regular use on SuedLink construction sites Embossed contact and team skills as well as independent, structured and analytical procedures
