Assistant Physician / Specialist Nephrology (m/f/d)

We are looking for you Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time

You diagnose and treat patients with nephrological diseases and secondary complications independently and carefully. You carry out specific nephrological diagnostics such as renal punctures and urine sediments and evaluate immunological findings. You provide the indication for the initiation of renal replacement procedures. You clarify patients individually for the appropriate renal replacement method and perform both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in the team. You provide interdisciplinary indications for carrying out special extracorporeal blood purification processes such as immunoadsorptions and plasmaphereses. You conduct ultrasound diagnosis of abdomen, kidneys, kidney vessels and dialysis shunts. You actively participate in in interdisciplinary medical care and work closely with colleagues in internal medicine, cardiology and intensive care. You take part in emergency care at the Clinic for acute and emergency medicine as well as on standby services. You participate in internal training, quality circles and the virtual nephropathological case discussion and bring your expertise. You participate in clinical studies and research projects and thus contribute to the further development of nephrology.

You have successfully completed your medical studies and have the German approval. You bring interest in continuing training in nephrology and want to deepen your knowledge. As a specialist for internal medicine and nephrology, you are interested in a position with a management function in the clinic. You are committed to patient-oriented and high-quality care and implement this daily. You like to work in the team, take responsibility and act empirically in dealing with patients and colleagues. You are ready to participate in call and standby services to ensure the care of our patients.
