The Head (f/m/d) of Transportation and Foreign Trade EMEA is responsible for managing relationships with transportation service providers, focusing on the following key areas: Contract management Identification of efficiency gains via managing continuous improvement programs KPI management Leading the Transportation and Import/Export Team More specifically, in this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for: Oversight of inbound and outbound freight activities and outbound carrier performance Ownership of the transportation and P&L budget Lead import/export strategy with the Foreign Trade Office Management Performance monitoring and cost reporting Invoice verification, control, and documentation management Transportation claims management and resolution Assist sales business units to find delivery solutions to customers/consignees requests Implementation of X-docking models Identification and implementation of new transportation routes Driving continuous improvement initiatives: Leading and coordinating projects across all key areas of responsibility Providing support for the opening, expansion, and transfer of distribution centers

Relevant experience in transportation management areas Solid knowledge in the foreign trade domain Proven track record of process improvement and change management Experience in team leading Willingness to travel as required per the business (from 25% to 50%) Competent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel Good command of English
