The clinic offers its patients from the attractive region an all-round supply with all important diagnostic and therapeutic offers and is well positioned as an oncological center with six centres certified by the German Cancer Society. The Department of Internal Medicine III – focus on pneumology, infectiology, sleep and respiratory medicine and general Internal medicine – has established itself since its foundation over ten years ago as the first address for complex pneumological and infectiological care of the district of Gütersloh and beyond. With approximately 1,500 stationary treatment cases per year, the department has a certified lung cancer center within the oncological centre with all endoscopic and interventional possibilities, as well as the training authorization for pneumology, infectiology and sleep medicine. The complete further education for internal medicine is available together with the Department of Internal Medicine I (cardiology, rhythmology, internalist intensive medicine) and the Department of Internal Medicine II (gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, palliative medicine, general internal medicine). The personnel division and service design of the interns of internal medicine is organised across departments. The thorax surgery cooperation with the Evangelical Clinic Bielefeld (EvKB) and two experienced thorax surgeons at the Gütersloher Haus completes the offer. Outpatient offers including the ASV Lunge and excellent cooperation with the oncological community practice at the house are already well developed. On April 1, 2027, we are looking for a dedicated managerial personality as Chief Physician (m/w/d) pneumology (supervisory successor Prof. Dr. Axel von Bierbrauer), who wants to significantly shape the strategic development of the department with established lung cancer center and infectiology with a strong pneumological network. Consultant (m/w/d) for Internal Medicine and Pneumology with proven, highest expertise in pneumological endoscopy including interventions and extensive experience in the entire performance portfolio – habilitation desired, but no condition First management responsibility in a pneumological clinic/department or comparable exposed role Additional denominations in infectiology, sleep medicine and/or intensive medicine or the willingness to acquire them Representative leadership and social competence, strategic thinking and organizational skills, as well as a sovereign, motivating appearance and high networking capability readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the house, active participation in the strategic orientation of the department and promotion of medical training
