Digital Manager for the German Automata Museum (m/f/d)

As a digital manager, you develop and manage the social media strategy of the Deutsche Automatenmuseum and implement it in a targeted manner. Design and implement digital exhibition formats such as online exhibits, blog posts or smartphone guides and continuously develop them. You maintain and develop our collection databases as well as the digital archive strategically and ensure the sustainable maintenance of the content. In addition, you can edit scientific content for website, social media and multimedia guides, support the online community and promote exchange with our visitors. In close cooperation with curators, IT and external service providers coordinate Digital projects, guide visitor groups through the exhibition and bring the enthusiasm for machines closer to our guest groups.

Complete university studies in the field of cultural, museum or humanities or in the context of digital business Practical experience in digital management, dealing with databases and social media Basic knowledge of the 19th and 20th history century and a fascination for technology Ability to prepare complex scientific content according to target groups and to communicate both digitally and guidedly A structured, independent and communicative way of working Very good knowledge of German and English, ideal for basic knowledge in French
