IT Operators – for Software Operations and Customer Environments (m/f/d)

You are happy to run complex IT systems, penetrate technical relationships and find solutions if it does not run according to the textbook? Not only do you want to manage servers and applications, but you want to help our customers operate our software reliably in their IT environments? As an IT operator (m/w/d), you are part of our IT consulting team and make sure that our software is reliably installed, updated and operated by our customers. You can move between IT operation, technical customer contact and interdisciplinary cooperation with our development, specialist teams in consulting and product support. You install, configure and update our MACH software components in the IT environments of our customers You analyze technical disorders, systematically limit errors and find sustainable solutions You accompany our customers on technical questions regarding the operation of our software and support them in the Troubleshooting You use technical manuals and provide targeted feedback to ensure comprehensibility, topicality and quality of documentation You work closely with development, consulting and support and help continuously develop our solutions and processes You document your work steps and your workstation reliably and ensure clear handovers – in particular to project management and colleagues.

You have first to several years of experience in operating and managing Windows and Linux servers, ideally with Red Hat, Oracle Linux You are safe to use application servers such as WildFly and Tomcat as well as databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB or Oracle Database You have gained a good understanding of networks and certificates and ideally first experiences with Docker You have good German knowledge on at least B2 level You like to work structured, carefully and independently and have high quality standards You address technical challenges analytically and solution-oriented, stay up with unexpected problems and find pragmatic solutions You can quickly find yourself in various IT landscapes, ask for clarification on request and are able to set priorities for parallel requirements and complete tasks cleanly You like to work independently in different customer relationships and can count on your team as a home base and backup and bring you into our IT consulting with commitment, initiative and team spirit
