Forwarding agent (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the handling and coordination of international export shipments and national freight shipments. You pick up freight offers at various forwardings, analyze them and perform sound comparisons of offers. You negotiate prices and contract conditions with forwarding partners as well as KEP service providers. You create all relevant export, shipping and customs documents, taking into account legal requirements. You monitor delivery dates and transport processes and ensure their timely implementation. You communicate targetedly with sales, customers and external logistics service providers. You maintain existing forwarding and supplier relationships and continuously develop them.

You have completed training for the forwarding businessman or Senior Consultant (m/w/d) You bring well-founded experience in export processing and customs. You occur safely and convincingly in price and contract negotiations. You are characterized by analytical thinking and a pronounced sense of cost and quality. You have very good knowledge of German and desirable good knowledge of English in word and writing. You work structured, independent and solution-oriented. You are safe in handling MS‐Office applications and ideally with ERP systems.
