(Senior) ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the development and implementation of ABAP solutions to support business processes in the MM environment of the VZ area within the SAP industry solution SAP Retail (SAP MM / SAP SD). In close cooperation with our stakeholders, you analyse technical requirements, develop tailor-made solutions and advise internal teams on the optimal use of the SAP systems used. You accompany the transformation of SAP GUI applications to SAPUI5/SAP-Fiori applications and OData services. In doing so, you migrate existing ABAP applications, develop them continuously and secure the corresponding support. You take customizations and extensions of existing SAP applications according to technical requirements and accompany system upgrades, patches and migrations. You perform code reviews, performance optimizations and error analysis, document technical specifications, development activities, and support processes, and support the continuous improvement of our development standards.

You have successfully completed a study or training with IT reference or have a comparable qualification. You have profound knowledge of the development with ABAP and ABAP OO and ideally experience with modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData Services, SAPUI5/Fiori and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). You have practical experience in handling Eclipse, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and GitHub. You have experience in working with stakeholders of different hierarchical levels and disciplines as well as in the translation of technical requirements into technical solutions. As a team player, you are convinced by strong communication strength, analytical thinking ability, readiness to learn and a high degree of responsibility and self-control. Complex technical challenges you analyze structured and develop sustainable, practical solutions. You have fluent German language skills in word and writing (CEFR level C1 or higher).
