We're #techinnovators. About us Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation GmbH What tasks do you expect? As an intern (m/w/d), you immerse yourself in the development and operation of backend services. You are actively working on the design, implementation and maintenance of Recommender systems, which are used, for example, in the Mercedes-Benz Car Configurator. Your main tasks include developing new features and monitoring the smooth operation of the services. You mainly develop Java and Kotlin and gain insights into CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions. Modern tools like Git, Jira and Confluence as well as the IDE IntelliJ are available for your daily work. During your internship, you will be accompanied by experienced experts (m/w/d) and work in a dynamic and supportive team.

How do you fit into our team? You are an immatricated student (m/w/d) of computer science or a related course of study and from February 2026 you will find an internship to gain practical experience in an innovative company. Finded knowledge in Java or Kotlin are absolutely necessary for this, ideally you will also have first experiences with CI/CD pipelines. Your strengths lie in analytical thinking, very good knowledge of German and English and the motivation to take responsibility and to learn new technologies. Within your small, agile and innovation-driven team, where teamwork is raised, you are looking forward to working regularly on site in Ulm or Stuttgart with your colleagues (m/w/d). Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and an interest in generic AI are desirable, but not absolutely necessary.
