System Platform Engineer KI (m/f/d)

As a platform engineer, you work in combination with engineering methods and cloud architectures with the current data and analytic technologies on the R+V AI platform. In a Scrum team, you will develop and operate our AI solution in the holistic sense of DevOps (You build it, you run it) from specification to design, to implementation, considering scalability and stability. You work intensively with CI/CD (GitLab), including builds, tests, security scans, deployments and monitoring. You define and implement Proof of Concepts and Prototypes. Conception and implementation of individual solutions are also part of your task. Continuous further development or scouting of technologies, methods and tools as well as active knowledge transfer are of course for you. The benefits of a close cooperation with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and specialist departments are used for a successful solution finding. You use systems like Docker in operation and Troubleshooting Containers, bringing experience in network-connecting cloud environments to corporate networks. You want to face these challenges, together with the team, take new paths, drive themes for the R+V and develop yourself personally.

Successful studies in natural sciences, computer science or comparable qualifications. Interested in incorporating you into modern data and cloud technologies, especially in the context of Azure Machine Learning, Public Cloud, Data Factory/Synapse Pipeline and Data Ingestion (ETL/ELT). Experience in creating and debugging Docker images as well as handling Terraform and Python. Knowledge of Azure infrastructures and services, such as VNets, Service and Private Endpoints, Identity Management, RBAC/ACL and Azure Storage (especially Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2), are advantageous. Experience in network-connecting cloud environments to corporate networks Practical experience in the use of coding agents (e.g. Claude Code or Codex) as well as a good understanding of modern AI-assisted coding and vibe engineering. You bring a communication strength, team capacity and joy in working together in interdisciplinary teams. Flowing German knowledge (min. level B2-C1).
