Workshop Manager / Plant Manager Crafts (m/f/d)

Our customer is an established medium-sized company that manufactures individual solutions by hand and then delivers and installs them. Different materials and artisanal methods are used. Quality, clean execution and reliable dates have a high priority.

At the next time, we are looking for an operating manager / workshop manager (m/w/d) who takes responsibility for the operating areas at the site. The focus is on the planning and control of the craft orders and the management of the employees. The decisive factor is the ability to realistically assess work expenses and processing times, both for the processes within the workshop and for the subsequent implementation and installation on site.

The position is indefinite, full-time and is occupied as part of a direct service. A grounded and enforceable personality, which creates clear structures, assumes responsibility and also leads sovereignly in a demanding industrial environment, is sought.

Responsibility for the operational areas at the site Management and coordination of employees from crafts, warehouses and extradition Control and prioritization of running workshop orders Application, capacity and scheduling Planning and coordination of delivery tours and assembly teams Ensuring quality, work progress and schedule Further development and optimization of operational processes

Completed craftsmanship or technical training, ideally with further training to master or technician Experience as an operating manager, production manager, workshop manager or in a comparable management function Professional experience in crafts, in production, building materials, metal, concrete, stone or wood processing Experience in the management and operational planning of industrial employees Organizational talent and a structured and solution-oriented way of working Very good handling of EDV, ideally experience with ERP systems Ability to realistically assess working expenses, processing times and capacities
