Central Contact Person in Engineering for Mission Management System Solutions Air Product Owner & Solution Manager support from Engineering Page Responsibility for shares of future mission system solutions Responsibility for the coordination, guidance and implementation of system development tasks using modern methods and tools in complex development projects Technical planning (equipment, time) and coordination of system development at project level General responsibility for the technical system conception with all relevant internal and external stakeholders Total responsibility for the definition, validation and review of system requirements Total responsibility of the system model from a technical point of view (functions and data) Total responsibility for the implementation of complex technical requirements in system concepts, architectures and designs (with the introduction of long-term theoretical and practical experience) regarding relevant technologies and standards General responsibility for technical documentation (e.g. specifications, design descriptions, architectures) Responsibility for/sure adaptation, design and continuous optimization of development and production processes (system) Defining modules and subsystems in close consultation with responsible disciplines (e.g. hardware, software) including technical evaluation make- or buy decisions in coordination with project management Technical/technical sales support in the initiative and offer phase Technical coordination of large (>10 employees)/different specialist teams incl. Mentoring and Knowledge Transfer Responsibility for the quality of design artifacts and achieving system performance Ensure planning and coordination of system verification and qualification Determining and ensuring the selection and compliance of the standards/ standards necessary for the task Ensure the implementation of system development structures in time, cost and quality (project-wide) Ensure the definition and expression of development road maps and reusable components/modules Responsibility of internal and external standardisation projects Negotiation, representation and enforcement of technical shares vis-à-vis customers, authorities and partners

Complete university studies in the field of aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering and a comparable qualification Broad, long-term and relevant professional experience in the field of aviation system development and mission systems Deep special knowledge in the field of aviation system development and mission systems Very well-founded, versatile and long-term experience in the development of (missions) equipment of aircraft Very deep and versatile experience in the integration of (missions) equipment in aircraft Extensive knowledge of common development tools Long-standing experience in the development of system architectures Deep experience in the field of aviation development and approval processes e.g. ARP-4754 Long-standing experience in the technical management of development teams Strong ability to shape and motivate developer teams Excellent quality awareness, very high customer orientation and safe handling with customers Contact and communication strength as well as joy in team collaboration Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing The willingness to travel is assumed.
