What you do to us The Working Group on Operational Support belongs to the Department of Defense Fire Protection in the Department of Fire Brigades, Rescue Service and Disaster Protection, and is responsible for a wide range of issues, such as application processing integrated control center, training, alarming and digital radio, as well as all IT topics for the operation and securing of a control center and its interfaces. The employment is completed in full time (39 hours per week) with the pay group 11 TVöD/VKA. Conceptual strategic activities Participation in meetings in project groups, such as: BKN (Detection of treatment capacity, introduction of country-wide deployment control software, UAG at national level) Examination of the feasibility and implementation of IT projects Creation of IT Support Processes Development of concepts for the introduction or Extension of EDV procedures and applications incl. Implementation of budget planning Development of strategies for the use of new computer methods Enlargement and updating of the existing IT concept of the head office, in cooperation with the working group management and the staff council Accompanying tender procedures (for hardware and software, services) from IT-Sicht, including defining DV-technical specifications, assessment of the financial framework Ensuring data security Advisory function for management in IT topics Operational administrative activities Professional administration of treatment capacity detection and required hardware support for electronic patient data collection, warehouse management programs, software for rescue equipment requirement planning and project management software (RettPRO), System-administrative tasks in the system network of the control unit and subsystems Application of ticket systems (e.g. Jira) Creation of a secure network infrastructure according to KRITIS (critical infrastructure) Ensuring software license management

Successfully completed IT-related studies (min. Bachelor or comparable), e.g. Computer Science, IT Security, News Technology or Similar As an alternative to other employees with equivalent skills and experience (please submit appropriate training/training evidence) A Class B licence is required (please attach a corresponding certificate to the application) German knowledge of native language or at least C1 level (GER) are required Professional experience in IT strategy development and as IT system administrator are desirable Professional experience in the field of police or non-police BOS-IT is desirable Professional courses, special qualifications for licenses, software, programs and configuration skills are advantageous Knowledge in the field of IT security and data protection as well as expertise in the field of non-policy prevention, in particular on organisational structure and service, are desirable Good English language skills are desirable readiness to call and service outside the usual office hours (e.g. in special cases and large-scale operations) High level of flexibility and organisational ability Technical understanding and creativity The agreement to carry out an extended safety review (§ 10 LSÜG) is a prerequisite for an application.
