Construction manager in the district heating network

Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For this challenge and the associated tasks, we need people who are fully committed to our common goal of a local heat transition – people like you.

For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you as a construction manager at the next possible time: in the district heating network at the Berlin site in an indefinite position. Your tasks: Management of network construction measures, in particular coordination of construction measures and involvement of all internal/external stakeholders Monitoring the compliance of the contract. Cost, timing and quality control as well as initial corrective measures in the event of malfunctions Control of compliance with all work and environmental regulations Organisation of commissioning with all internal/external parties, incl. Heat meter order Accounting and acceptance of services Promise and monitor services within the scope of warranty Knowledge and experience in the application of VOB and BGB Cross-departmental cooperation in working groups and bodies System Care (especially SAP and CRM Tool: VMW)

Your profile: You have a degree in Higher Education You bring knowledge of district heating You have IT skills for system care You already have experiences in this area You have very good communication and team skills as well as self-employment, self-initiative and enforcement skills You have a pronounced analytical and structured mindset You are owned by the Class B driving licence You speak German fluent in word and writing You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
