Legal supervision of large district cities and counties: Examination of the budgets and economic plans of the holdings and local foundations and decision on components subject to authorisation, such as credit and commitment appropriations and cash credits, examination of the admissibility of municipal participations, consultation of municipalities in general commercial matters, processing of complaints and petitions Intercommunal cooperation: Legal supervision of associations of purposes, cross-border cooperation between local authorities and local public authorities Oversight of the municipal supervisory authorities of the state council offices: Treatment of complaints and petitions, advice from the authorities Processing of changes in municipal names and border changes Examination of municipal statutes, possibly with the participation of the relevant specialist departments A change in the task section is reserved.
