The LVR-Jugendhilfe Rheinland with the facilities in Solingen, Tönisvorst, Remscheid and Euskirchen is a highly differentiated youth aid facility with 351 seats. The Phönix group is aimed at 8 boys from 12 years old with sexually overlapping patterns of behaviour, which are temporarily or permanently unable to live in the family context and offers them a stable and structured daily routine with internal therapeutic connection. The aim is to deal with their misconduct, to get to know and use their strengths sustainably, to develop a realistic self-image and to develop the competence for future relationship design. Thanks to the multi-professional work with sexually overlapping children and adolescents, the group contributes specifically to the protection of victims. The young people to be supervised are also protected from further dysfunctional interpersonal experiences by intensive educational support.
