Application Engineer (m,w,d)

As Application Engineer (m/w/d), you are the interface between technology and sales. You combine technical know-how with a clear view for customer requirements. Your work goes beyond the pure supply creation – you actively shape solutions, work with projects and apply existing in-house standards individually. In the aftersales area, you will accompany modernizations, upgrades and services to continuously improve the plant performance – with a focus on efficiency, reliability and precise functionality.

Planning, testing and processing of tender documents and specifications Technical and economic clarifications with customers and internal departments Development of technical concepts and their design up to the ready-to- offer (e.g. switching systems, drive technology, control and control systems) Creation and management of calculations and offer texts Close cooperation with our other locations Creation and management of supplier requests Control, monitoring and compliance with technical, commercial and terminological conditions

Participation in projects: taking over the management of smaller projects Creation of technical rough planning for automation systems Consultative support for detailed planning

Aftersales support with focus on modernization, upgrades and services to improve efficiency, reliability and precise system function

Successfully completed studies of electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable focus Deep knowledge in automation systems (switching systems, drive technology, control and control systems)Wünschenworthy experience in technical sales or in supply creation and/or in electrical engineering readiness to travel, driving licence class B Excellent German and good English skills
