STRABAG Rail GmbH is an international railway company and part of the STRABAG SE Group. Thanks to its more than 100 years of experience, it gives valuable impetus in the planning of railway construction projects and sets qualitative standards in the construction design. As part of your 3-year training period, you will learn safety regulations, workflows and the construction site organization Processing and processing of metals and plastics - by hand and with machines - is an important part of your training You can learn how to use construction machines, including pneumatic, electrical or hydraulic systems, as well as other machine elements and chassis of construction equipment. You will learn how to guide and maintain construction equipment and how to use surveying equipment safely You regularly visit the vocational school and our group workshop in Bebra as well as the over-company training centre in Rostrup and successfully complete your IHK final exam.

At the beginning of the 2025 training you will find a mix of vocational school, advanced training in Bebra/Rostrup as well as state-of-the-art technology for use on our assembly lines. We want to accompany you not only during your training, but to develop you and your skills beyond your training in the long term. Your training allowance is 1. Year 1.080,00€, in the 2nd year 1.293,00€ and in the 3rd year 1.604,00€ (according to the current tariff in the construction industry).
