For the area ''Cyber Defence', we are looking for a location at Ulm, Immenstaad or Taufkirchen at the next possible time Attack Surface Lead (m/d) Cyber Defence is responsible for the protection of the organisation's digital assets through comprehensive threat information, continuous monitoring and rapid responses in incidents and forensic investigations. This team identifies, analyzes and mitigates proactive cyber threats and manages the attack area of the organization to reduce vulnerabilities. You work together across departments to ensure a robust security and resilience to developing cyber threats. As ''Attack Surface Lead (w/m/d)'' you are responsible for ensuring the acquisition, analysis and distribution of cyber threat information to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks. Their focus is on using data from internal and external sources, including dark web monitoring, to improve the organization's security situation and to support strategic decisions.

Technical and operational management and responsibility for Attack Surface Management Management of the vulnerability management process, including continuous identification, evaluation and elimination of vulnerabilities in systems and applications Monitoring measures in Attack Surface Management to identify and reduce potential attack vectors Priority of vulnerabilities using tools such as VM tool to efficiently control the strategy Reporting on the current level of vulnerabilities to the head of cyber defence with clear insights into the risk profile and progress of the measures Cooperation with IT, security and specialist departments to ensure a timely play-in of patches and closure of vulnerabilities Supporting internal cyber defence projects within the Cyber Defence Department as well as cooperation with external service providers to further develop and improve HENSOLDT's cybersecurity capabilities and to process ad-hoc-related security requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a similar field Long-standing experience in cyber security Ability to analyze vulnerability data and effectively prioritize corrective actions Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure alignment with the organisation's security objectives Excellent communication and reporting capabilities to convey knowledge to the management level
