Head of IT and Organization

In this key position with a direct reporting path to the member of the Executive Board responsible, you are competent to continuously expand the credit institution's profitability and to actively shape the customer- and market-oriented development of processes, organization and IT. You accompany and are responsible for the process and organizational adaptability of the bank and ensure that internal banking processes are consistently thought, designed and simplified from the point of view of our customers and the market colleague. As a central interface between sales, internal departments and IT, you drive forward the end-to-end optimization of business processes and develop IT, organization and processes continuously and impact-oriented. Your area of responsibility is divided into the departments “IT transformation”, “IT management” and “bank organisation and production passive” with around 55 employees. In addition to the responsibility for the entire construction and execution organization, you are responsible for the planning, implementation and control of organizational and processal projects with the aim of a slim, efficient and customer-oriented banking organization. You ensure a powerful, sustainable IT landscape and ensure that technological solutions create a clear added value for customers, market areas and internal units. In doing so, you actively drive necessary change processes and make a significant contribution to VR Bank's strategic and operational sustainability. Your range of tasks is rounded off by the value-assuring, empowering and result-oriented guidance of your employees and by the promotion of cross-area, solution- and customer-oriented thinking.

For this versatile task, you have a (specialized) degree in a degree course close to economic, organizational or IT, e.g. economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or computer science, or a comparable qualification. You can present several years of professional experience in the field of business organization / IT / business process management within the financial services industry. You may also have appropriate technical know-how, which has been acquired, for example, by an activity in a consultancy or with an IT provider. Knowledge regarding the optimization of organisational processes, taking into account business, technical and process aspects, is assumed. In addition, you have a basic understanding of regulatory requirements. Ideally, you already have knowledge of market succession in the entire passive and service business or are willing to work on this topic in a timely manner.
