You enable app developers – via a “Developer Self-Service” – to access and deploy information as independently as possible. The following tasks are implemented: Operation, maintenance and further development of our management cluster Ensuring the high availability (HA) of the services running in this cluster

ArgoCD support in developing a self-service deployment strategy Implementation of RBAC for app developers to enable self-service deployments Support in the maintenance and development of ArgoCD apps

Vault maintenance and further development of Vault-Secret-Storage Implementation of RBAC for app developers and other users

Observability Maintenance and Development of our Observability Cluster and Incident Management Processes Implementation of tracing tools at cluster level (Grafana Alloy + Tempo) Definition of other Alert rules for Prometheus (in the context of kube-prometheus-stack) Improving Alert Manager Configurations Together with the Services Team

Helmet-Chart Development Support in Development and Review of Helm Charts for Applications

CI/CD and Developer Tooling Maintenance and further development of our OpenTofu-based cluster revision as well as app development pipelines with focus on security scanning and stability Implementation of other developer tools (e.g. Renovate)

Security Evaluation and implementation of user and policy management for our clusters (e.g. Kyverno) Evaluation and Implementation of a Service Meshes to Improve Cluster-Internal Traffic Management and Security (e.g. Linkerd)

You have a completed training or study. You are passionate about designing, developing and operating a scalable cloud platform to support software delivery and operation in the IoT context. You are also interested in the entire software delivery cycle – from the provision of infrastructure to performance monitoring. Container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes. Long cloud native tools like Terraform / OpenTofu, Helm Charts, CloudNative PG. Automation and CI/CD, including experience with GitLab CI and GitOps tools (e.g. ArgoCD). Experience with observability and incident management, e.g. with the Prometheus / Alertmanager / Loki / Grafana stack. Very good knowledge of German and good English.
