The Malteser Hilfsdienst in der Diözese Augsburg is now looking for a dedicated lead for the Open Disabled Work (OBA) in the city of Augsburg. The position is to be occupied in part-time (30 hours/week) and is limited to 12 months (with option for extension). In the OBA Augsburg we offer valuable support with our low-swelling offers to enable people with disabilities and people with chronic diseases to live as self-determined and self-responsible as possible. Professional leadership and responsibility: You take over the technical management of the entire service and contribute significantly to further development Responsibility for funding: You independently create applications for funding, annual statistics and evidence of use and thus ensure the transparent and proper use of funds Leadership and motivation of the team: You lead both volunteers and volunteers, motivate your team and ensure a valuable working atmosphere Coordination and training of volunteers: You are responsible for the collection, training and continuous coordination of our dedicated volunteers who make an important contribution to the success of the service Advice at eye level: You offer support-neutral consulting services as part of the Open Disabled Work (OBA) and are a competent contact person for all participants Committee work and co-design: You actively participate in various councils and bodies and contribute to the further development of structures Build and maintain networks: You maintain and expand relevant networks and strengthen cooperation with partners from different areas

You have a degree in social education, social work or a comparable field, as well as relevant professional experience in dealing with our target group You have a completed (health) pedagogical or curative training or a comparable qualification and can demonstrate practical experience in working with people with disabilities You have already gained leadership experience and are sure to deal with the management of teams Ideally, you can experience working with people with (multiple) obstacles and chronic diseases with You are flexible, are happy to work in the team and bring an open attitude towards new challenges. Reliability and readiness for use are of course You work independently, foresight and always keep an overview You have well-founded knowledge of how to use MS Office and can safely apply it in your daily work
