IT/OT Automation / Safety Engineer (m/w/d)

The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

You develop and define company-wide automation and safety standards You evaluate new technologies and trends You successfully implement sophisticated retrofit and brownfield projects to modernise existing plants You support projects and locations You establish best practice approaches for secure and efficient OT system integration You promote knowledge transfer and conduct training on topics such as functional security, OT security and automation architectures

You have a completed technical study or training in the field of automation / electrical engineering or comparable You bring well-founded expertise in PLC programming (e.g. TIA Portal, Rockwell, Beckhoff) and in HMI/SCADA integration with you You show your know-how in dealing with industrial standards and trends Ideally, you bring experience in retrofit and brownfield projects You ideally have knowledge of functional safety (SIL, PL) and OT-Cyber-Security You work analytically, structured and solution-oriented, especially in fault analysis and system optimization You are strong in communication in German and English and work flexibly and agilely in interdisciplinary teams You continuously expand your knowledge and actively pursue new technologies
