in Unit E/3 – Energy policy and energy transition – to be filled in full time. Setting is in an indefinite employment relationship.

Your tasks

The area of responsibility of the body to be occupied shall include:

• Accompanying the implementation of the Heat Planning Act (WPG) and the Saarland Heat Planning Conversion Act (WPUG) including the Load Compensation Regulation, also at the interface to the Building Energy Act (GEG) and the planned Building Modernization Act
• Accompanying the expansion of renewable energies in the context of energy and heat transfer in Saarland
• Opinions on concepts and measures for the development of electricity and heat grids as part of the expansion of renewable energies and the implementation of municipal heat planning
• Support of measures and projects in the context of heat transfer, including the topics decarbonization of heat networks, waste heat potentials etc.
• Accompanying the exchange with the municipalities of the country for local heat planning and their implementation, including the planned information campaign of the MWIDE
• Working together to build data structures and systems for local heat planning and heat transfer

Your qualification

(m/w/d) must have the following requirements:

• successfully completed academic studies (Diplom, Master or equivalent degree) in the field of spatial and environmental planning, environmental engineering, applied natural sciences and technology, renewable energies, economics, energy management, economic engineering or comparable degree
• high affinity for energy policy and in particular for local heat planning and heat transfer
• Interest in innovative solutions in the field of energy, business and industry
• knowledge and experience in the field of technical provisions of energy law, technical regulations of energy associations, the Renewable Energy Act and the planning and approval law
• high level of independent working, analytical talent, readiness to use, reliability, team, contact and organizational capability
• safe handling of common Microsoft Office applications, data processing and geographic information systems and databases

The classification is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement for the public service of the countries (TV-L).The level allocation for a pay group can take into account relevant professional experience and favourable periods in the level allocation. (m/w/d) is also entitled to an additional pension and survivor's pension under equity.
