You represent the teaching and research area “Digital Production Technologies” in its wide range, in particular modern production and production systems, their planning, control and automation as well as simulation and data-based methods of digital production. You provide students with application-oriented methods and pass on their professional experience and competences to them. To do this, you conduct German- and possibly English-language courses in various degree courses and study focuses of the faculty and actively develop central modules in the field of production technology and industrial engineering. You supervise project, bachelor's and master's thesis as well as perspective doctoral thesis. You engage in application-oriented research and develop the laboratory for production technologies. You contribute to the development and maintenance of research and transfer cooperation with partners from industry and science and actively promote third-party funding. You are involved in the internationalisation of the faculty, in particular through the care and development of international partnerships and English-language teaching, as well as in academic self-government.

You are a dedicated and professionally versed personality that represents the theme of digital production technologies with enthusiasm and enthusiasm for innovation. You have a successful degree in engineering sciences and a special capacity for scientific work (referred by the quality of your doctorate or promotional adequate performance). You bring well-founded professional experience in relevant areas of digital production systems or technology. You are delighted to inspire students for production technology, digitalization and the transformation of industrial value added and ideally bring teaching experience into modern didactic methods. Their profile is rounded off by a cooperative and integrative working style and the willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation, in particular in areas such as robotics, AI, laser technology, material sciences or logistics.
