PhD student (w/m/d) Field of patent and license management To support our team, we are looking for a PhD PhD (w/m/d) with a wide knowledge of science in full time (39 hours per week).
The activities include the analysis, search and evaluation of technologies, the advice of scientists on the patentability and usability of their inventions and commercialization activities such as the creation of technology offerings, the search for potential licensees and negotiations of licenses. Regular communication with our external patent attorneys is also an essential part of the place to be occupied. The work is to be carried out largely independently within the existing team.
The ideal candidate (w/m/d) has first industrial experience, interdisciplinary thinking, interest in complex tasks, high motivation and self-initiative as well as a strong interest in patent law. Negotiating German and English in word and written form is a mandatory requirement.
The job is limited to 2 years. The remuneration is governed by the collective agreement of the public service (TVöD Bund). The classification is carried out in the remuneration group 13.
