Excellence in cardiovascular medicine: The Rotenburg cardiovascular centre with its clinics for cardiology, angiology and internalist intensive medicine, cardiac surgery, anesthesiology cardiological rehabilitation and prevention as well as neurological rehabilitation is a long-standing representative of German top medicine. In close cooperation with the clinics for cardiac surgery and anaesthesia, the entire spectrum of a maximum provider is held in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg Clinic for Cardiology, Angiology and Internalist Intensive Medicine of the Herz-Kreislaufzentrum (HKZ). Certified priority areas include interventional coronary therapy, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and interventional mitral and tricspidal valve therapies. In addition, we are a supra-regional heart failure centre (DGK) and of course have a certified Chest Pain Unit. The HKZ is a certified training centre “Interventional Cardiology (DGK)” and “special rhythmology (DGK)”. The Rhythmology section (Section Manager: Benjamin Albrecht) is established in the region for many years and offers the complete spectrum of invasive and non-invasive electrophysiology with a comprehensive equipment and a state-of-the-art and excellently equipped catheter laboratory. comprehensive care and treatment of patients with cardiac arrhythmias in stationary and outpatient areas Self-fulfilment of electrophysiological studies including catheter ablation methods using modern mapping systems Implantation of cardiac pacemakers, ICDs and CRT systems and appropriate care interdisciplinary work in particular with the disciplines, heart surgery, anaesthesiolgia and intensive care in the modern environment within our hospital network Care and guidance of assistant physicians and medical professionals active support of the section manager and the chief physician in further development of the section Rhythmology Multi-purpose readiness Supervision of stations Office hours Active participation in the design of internal further education within the framework of existing curricula and of assignment events

Medical specialist recognition for internal medicine and cardiology as well as several years of experience in rhythmology (including invasive electrophysiology and device therapy) Special rhythmology and optionally active rhythm implants (of advantage, no compelling requirement) Expertise in carrying out and evaluating electrophysiological investigations and interventional interventions high competence in the clinical assessment of patients as well as planning and implementation of therapy measures in cardiac arrhythmias Team spirit and high competencies in communication and handling of employees Engagement for the further development of the department Willingness to participate actively in clinical studies and research projects Willingness to cross-site structural work
