The IEA is an independent, non-profit research organization. We conduct major international and national comparative studies on pupil performance and other aspects of education to explore, understand and improve education worldwide. The tasks include monitoring the entire course of a study, in particular the design and maintenance of the study-related process databases, the creation of printed products for data collection, manual and scanner-based data collection, the creation and administration of online surveys, and finally the preparation of the end data sets and their documentation. The department comprises about 20 employees who contribute to our success through their diverse working priorities and skills. .
