About the company

Our client is a modern and strong-growing employer from the chemical sector. A few months ago, the company was removed from an international US corporation as part of a carve-out and is now owned by a private equity investor. Now we start a new phase: central structures, processes and systems are rebuilt to be successful in the long term as an independent organization. This means an extraordinary opportunity for the financial function. As a senior accountant, you will design structures, processes and standards from scratch. You create the basis for a modern, scalable accounting organization and work closely with the Head of Accounting. Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB Independent support of complex accounting and accounting issues Control and further development of the main accounting in an exciting building phase Ensuring proper main, secondary and plant accounting Support and evaluation of the extensive investment assets in a production environment Active participation in the introduction and optimization of processes, systems and internal controls Support in the implementation and further development of processes, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments Working with digitalisation and transformation projects in the financial sector

Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting, finance or taxes, or completed commercial training with further training on the account holder (IHK), or a similar qualification Insufficient professional experience in accounting, ideally in a medium-sized or growing business environment Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB and German tax law Secure handling of ERP systems (ideally MS Dynamics) and MS Office Knowledge of tax law and cooperation with financial authorities, auditors and tax advisors High self-responsibility, analytical thinking and pronounced communication skills
