The Caritasverband Offenbach/Main e.V. is looking for Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Range of jobs from 10 or 29.5 to 39 hours per week For the integration aid/qualified assistance in one's own harassment (formerly a prey of living) in the Caritasnetzwerk Gernsheim and/or for the social care of those seeking protection under the Landesaufgesetz (LAG) and residents of the emergency accommodation of the municipality of Biebesheim am Rhein. The Caritasnetzwerk Gernsheim is a regional contact point of the Caritasverband Offenbach/Main e.V. in Gernsheim and offers general life and social counselling as well as diverse support services for people in social crises and situations of life.

The tasks of integration aid include (19.5 to 29 hours per week): Technical information, advice and psychosocial support for people with substance-related dependency diseases and/or mental illnesses Crisis intervention and situation-appropriate action in acute psychosocial stress SGB IX and coordination of accurate support services in the sense of structured case management Stabilisation of abstinence and support through fall prevention measures and resource activation Promoting professional and school reintegration, support in the development of realistic prospects for the future and in building and stabilising social networks Support in structuring everyday life, promoting life-structural skills and support in designing a sense-making leisure Support and support in dealing with authorities, service providers and institutions Documentation, statistics and reporting Social care tasks include (10 hours per week on at least 2 days per week): Social counselling and psychosocial care of seekers and residents of emergency accommodation Support in the application (e.g. SGB II/XII, asylum seeker benefits, child benefit, health insurance) Monitoring of administrative matters and coordination of appointments Help with integration and everyday management (apartment search, school and kita registration, language courses, medical care) Crisis intervention, networking and documentation, statistics and reporting

A completed university study of social work / social education or a comparable social science discipline Ideally, expertise and/or professional experience in working with people with substance-related dependency diseases, mental illnesses A valuable, resource- and client-oriented basic attitude and high motivation for working with people with complex support needs Designed social and communicative skills, professional appearance, team skills and flexibility in everyday work Ability and willingness to work independently, structured and independent Willingness to continue professional development, to participate in further education and training as well as in supervision Identification with the values and the symbol of the church-caritative institution
