Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of data-driven analysis of Powertools. Our goal is to gain valuable insights into performance, efficiency and applications from sensor data. We already have powerful data pipelines and machine learning models that are waiting to be developed and optimized by you. Here you can explore new algorithms, develop feature engineering techniques and create innovative approaches. In our systems, large quantities of operating data are generated daily – but real innovation is not only created at the desk. This is why you will also hand in our modern test areas: Test the Powertools themselves, capture sensor data in real application scenarios and gain a deep understanding of the machines and their applications. Take exciting projects: Your focus is on data analysis, feature engineering, modeling of machine behavior and developing machine learning-based methods for optimizing tool usage and lifetime. From data processing to modeling to validation and integration, you are actively involved in the design of new solutions. Follow with us the central development goal to establish continuous pipelines that can work automatically with new powertool data – for a smarter, more efficient and data-driven future in the craftsman and industrial sector.

Studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, data science, engineering, or a comparable technical course. First experience in data processing with machine learning methods, ideally in the field of time series analysis, sensor data processing. Solid programming knowledge (preferably in Python or C++), experience with common ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn) and ideally first touch points with Linux environments. First experience with version control systems, especially Git, to work efficiently with code and collaborate in a development team. A high level of initiative, analytical thinking and joy in developing creative ideas and innovative solutions. Very good German (mind. B2) and English knowledge in word and writing.
