With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans. As part of our ADAS software organization, we are responsible for transferring next-generation driver assistance software to series production. Our team is working on the interface between software development, ECU manufacturers and Mercedes-Benz test organisations. We ensure the successful integration of the software on series hardware, coordinate industrialization activities and drive validation measures to provide production-ready ECUs for future vehicle platforms. These challenges include: Active support for flashing and error analysis on remote test levels Construction and commissioning of test stands for flash and comprehensive test activities Development of automation tools with Python, including GUI and CLI applications Flashing and provision of ECU for corresponding vehicle series Conducting tests on software packages flashed on ECUs Management of inventory in the hardware laboratory Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation in Confluence Professional handling of Jira tickets for task and error tracking Preparation of working environments of new software releases for flash activities Activity can begin from October 2026

Current master's degree in a technical field with knowledge from computer science, computer engineering or a comparable field A first degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a comparable technical course Very good English knowledge of word and writing; German knowledge is advantageous Knowledge and practical experience with Linux operating systems Practical experience or very good knowledge in Python or other programming or script languages Experience with version management systems such as Git, GitHub or GitLab Basic understanding of containerization, e.g. Docker or Docker Swarm Networking knowledge is advantageous Embossed analytical skills and a structured working method Very good understanding of troubleshooting and troubleshooting High readiness, initiative and enthusiasm for new technologies and tasks Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
