As a global functional lead, FHCS operates an effective Customs and Export Control Management System (CECMS) by keeping policies, processes and guidelines up-to-date through continuous monitoring of regulatory changes Promote global implementation and consistent application of Customs and Export Control standards in all regions Head of Continuous Improvement Initiatives in Customs & Export Control within FHCS, in particular by: Development and implementation of global tools and standardized processes Training, professional guidance and support of local experts: active support of Knowledge Exchange and Best-Practice sharing within the global FHCS Customs & Export Control Community Tracking and monitoring corrective action from audits and self-assessments and support in investigations on potential non-comliance cases Building and maintaining a global KPI tracking, deriving and implementing optimization initiatives as well as supporting GRC-related projects and compliance initiatives Further development of the function through project management, functional leadership of teams and perspective takeover of disciplinary responsibility

Complete university studies in a relevant field (e.g. business management, international trade, logistics, law) More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position in the field of Customs, Export Control or Foreign Trade Compliance Very good knowledge of: preferential law and rules of origin, export control rules and foreign trade law (including EU Customs Code, Executive Orders, Prohibitions and Restrictions) and incoterms and international tax regulations knowledge of English; German is an advantage Very good MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems Representative communicative and written skills as well as the ability to work quickly and independently Sovereign handling of multiple complex tasks in parallel, including prioritization and management of medium-sized projects and research in the team Proactive, structured working with secure judgment, high detail accuracy and the ability to effectively manage high working volumes leadership skills as well as the ability to provide sound advice and professional guidance on custom and export control topics
