Number: MER0003W6A Welcome to the Electric Software Hub, in the heart of Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD). All E/E systems and their functions in the entire vehicle are secured and brought in series by us in an overarching networked RD-area E/E-total vehicle integration. For this area we are the central point of contact and in this future-focusing environment our team is home with 10 highly motivated and cooperative colleagues. Our team mission? We give our customers and developers orientation, coordinate the RD-wide backup of E/E hardware, software and functions and control them in the cycle into the follow-up processes. We are the central starting point for HW/SW documentation and the associated process knowledge of the E/E. We allow for a smooth vehicle construction by showing discrepancies transparently and contributing with our expertise preventively to the decommissioning. We share our knowledge across the Group with our interface partners and shape the path of development in the transition to Lead in Car SW on HW with MB.OS. This mission is our North Star and determines our actions. The E/E release plan assigns a release to the various construction phases during vehicle development and serves the developers as a central orientation point for the planning of the securing activities. When updating the E/E release plan, the tool mds.me (cPlace) supports us. These exciting tasks come to you: Self-care, care and update of the E/E release plans in cPlace for all Mercedes Benz Cars models (series) Creation of new release plans for future series Own creation of a generic release planning and introduction of optimization approaches Preparation and support of AG E/E, an RD-wide panel Optimization of the configuration overview for EPDM queries Creating and reviewing the release queries for test instances Support of the release manager in escalation tasks after Freeze terminals insights into the future of Mercedes-Benz and the opportunity to actively support them We don't offer you a 0815 job, every week brings new challenges and opportunities to shape new things. Ideally you bring the following: Studies of engineering / economic / IT sciences or comparable Understanding and Interest in Project Management Experience in MS Project (cPlace, ...) or comparable software Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office VBA knowledge desirable Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working What personal skills are important to us?
