In the heart of Neumünster, in October 2023, we opened the new “Arrive” shelter for children and young people aged 10-18. We are looking for dedicated and motivated colleagues*collegs who help shape the shelter with their experiences and skills and create life. As a carrier, we have been active in Neumünster since 2009 and can rely on a large collegiate network with a housing group, the supervised youth homes and the outpatient help and a variety of experiences.

Your tasks:

• You will be part of the team of our new protection agency “Arrive” – your ideas and your content are in demand and expressly desired
• As part of the team, support and accompany children and young people aged 10-18 and offer them a home on time
• You create a safe and beautiful environment for children and adolescents with clear rules and routines that empathically enforce you
• For children and adolescents, you are a trust and contact person, support in the school context and shape everyday life together
• You are contact person*in for the Youth Office, the legal pre-openers, the schools and represent the IB inward and outward
• The conscientious documentation and compilation of reports is just as important as participation in the situation clarification and perspective planning.
• Your own strengths and preferences (music, sports, creativity, gardening,...) in everyday educational life are welcome to us
• You will design with: On-site operations are teamwork, team meetings take place weekly with small learning suggestions
• Participation in the regular supervision offers you the opportunity to regularly reflect your working day
• The further development of our pedagogical professionals is very important to us – you participate in regular (team) further education

Your profile:

• a completed study of social work or comparable qualification
• Diversity, appreciation and tolerance are indispensable for you? Great, for us too!
• Great interest in the varied and sometimes challenging world of life of children and young people in the context of inobservation
• Pedagogical accompaniment of children/young people with trauma problems
• A sense of responsibility, a respectful approach to the target group and a professional approach to proximity and distance

• Flexibility, empathy, resilience, communication and enforcement strength, commitment, openness and humor - the heart at the right spot
• Interest in conceptual cooperation and regular training

• A passenger car license is required
