We prepare the rollout of our first new Crossdock ''Nord' in Mercedes Benz AG and you can become part of it. As Center Supply Chain Transport (MO/ST) we are responsible for the planning and operation of the inbound and outbound transport networks of Mercedes-Benz AG. The Inbound MO/STI department takes over the strategic and tactical transport planning and control of the inbound transport networks on the road, rail, sea and air, and is responsible for the security of supply at optimal freight costs. As part of the network control, we operate the inbound supply chains from the supplier to the production plants and the intermediary traffic in our production network in the Mercedes-Benz AG vehicle and power train plants and maintain our transport service providers in operational operation.

The current transport logistics processes are disturbed by the current crises in many places and require active control interventions. The cost and capacity situation on the global logistics market is also tense and requires new conceptual approaches in the organisation and procurement of transport services. Study with focus on materials management/logistics/transport or comparable qualification Very good knowledge and experience with the current MS Office products and operational logistics IT systems (e.g. SAP o.a.) Skills in analytical handling of data (e.g. Excel) are required Knowledge of project management and programming Experiences in the development of supply chain methods incl.
