Become part of our global team: You make the difference – YOU MAKE US Our team “Digitalization and Planning Inbound Network” at the Wörth am Rhein site is responsible for the planning of logistical processes of material delivery from our suppliers to the receipt of goods in the factory. As part of cross-group initiatives, we are driving the digital transformation in the logistics processes. Through innovative concepts for networking the truck telematics with the logistics systems in the plants, the use of AI applications as well as database analyses for intelligent evaluation of information, we generate more transparency in the entire supply chain and increase their efficiency. In addition, we drive the use of electric trucks in our own supply chains and plan the further development of the associated infrastructure. THE WORK Participation in the application and further development of analysis tools for determining performance in logistical processes Participation in the application and development of transport planning and control tools Participation in transport/process planning and process optimization as well as their realization Participation in coordination at the interfaces to operational logistics and the external process partners: inside Application of methods/methods for transport simulation and visualization Preparation and implementation of pilot applications of new logistical processes
