The AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt e.V. (AHF) is there with general and voluntary teams for people affected by HIV or faced with HIV and AIDS for a wide variety of reasons. In addition, we understand ourselves as a more queer organization for people of different target groups. As one of the largest AIDS-Hilfe associations in Germany, we offer a wide range of information, advice, help and support in diverse projects. The “La Strada – Drug Aid & Prevention” is an established project of low-swelling accepting drug aid within the AIDS Aid Frankfurt e.V. and offers drug users basic services and practical survival aids in the Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel. The offer ranges from social counselling with exit aids to an integrated smoking and drug consumption room and an overnight accommodation facility to services of the supervised individual residence. We are looking for “La Strada – Drug Help & Prevention” now Social workerin / Social pedagoguein (m, w, d) with an unlimited percentage of 60 % as well as a fixed-term share of 40% by 31.10.2026

Working in the contact shop La Strada and advising people using drugs Psychosocial care in the context of accepting drug work Qualified HIV/AIDS and hepatitis advice as well as information on Safer Use and Safer Sex Support for drug-use people in social, legal and health issues (social assistance, residence and asylum law, housing situation) Implementation of crisis interventions and support in mental crises Documentation, evaluation and active participation in the further development of existing offers Close cooperation with medical, therapeutic and regulatory bodies

Complete study of social work or social education, with public recognition Benefits in the accepting low-swell drug aid Knowledge of basic social law (especially SGB II, XII, etc.) Basic knowledge of foreign and asylum law Expertise in psychosocial care of people with substance-related disorders Security in dealing with crisis situations and mental stress Respect for different ways of life and cultural backgrounds Organisational and team skills and empathy and an accepting basic attitude
