Become part of Germany's most renowned research organization The General Administration of the MPG is looking for a period of five years for 39 hours per week for its Finance Department at the next possible time Project management Cross-sectional topics – S/4HANA Transformation Procurement & Finance Reference number 37/26 We are looking for a personality that, in our Greenfield transformation on SAP S/4HANA, recognizes inter-area relationships, proactively promotes cross-sectional topics and, as a connecting entity, ensures a consistent overall picture between disciplines and project management. Our sympathetic project team consists of dedicated project managers for the various topics – from procurement to finance and financial control to household and third-party funding. In order to optimally shape the interaction of these areas, we are looking for a responsible and self-employed person who keeps in mind the overarching topics in a structured manner and thus contributes significantly to the success of the transformation.

You take over the project management and the structured documentation of your topics within an agile project structure as part of the transformation on SAP S/4HANA. You develop concepts for cross-cutting issues between procurement, finance and budget management and ensure their integration into the overall project. You control and coordinate external service providers and ensure the quality and achievement of cooperation. You prepare presentations, trainings and webinars and carry out them according to target groups. You analyse existing business processes and identify potential for optimization and harmonisation across specialist areas. You develop and establish uniform process standards and accompany their implementation in the project. You create and maintain the documentation of central business processes and ensure transparency and traceability. You actively support change management, accompany organisational changes and promote the acceptance of new processes and systems.

You have completed academic studies in a relevant field (e.g. business informatics, business management or administrative sciences) or have comparable skills and experiences from a corresponding activity in the SAP environment; ideally complemented by a certification in the environment of SAP S/4HANA. You have well-founded professional experience with SAP systems as well as deeper knowledge in the relevant modules FI, CO and MM. You have relevant knowledge in commercial accounting as well as a good understanding of cross-sector business processes. You have practical experience in project management, ideally in transformation projects, and are familiar with agile working methods. You bring experience in the analysis, design and documentation of business processes and in the development and implementation of process standards. You have experience in managing external service providers and dealing with different stakeholders. Ideally, you know the structures and requirements of the public service. You have experience in dealing with AI applications or willingness to work into appropriate systems. You are characterised by an independent, structured and targeted way of working and proactively advancing themes. You have a safe occurrence, pronounced communication skills and the ability to act convincingly even in complex voting situations. You have very good knowledge of German at a reliable level and good knowledge of English in word and writing.

As part of a fixed-term employment relationship for 5 years, we offer you, depending on the qualifications and professional experience, a payment up to 14 TVöD (Bund) and various social benefits.
