For our headquarters in Sehnde near Hannover we are looking for a*n at the next possible time: Senior Buyer (m/w/d) Senior Buyer (m/w/d) In addition to the day-to-day business in purchasing, you also have responsibility for the performance of your suppliers and sources of supply. You conduct price, contract and contract negotiations and develop sustainable procurement strategies to continuously improve costs, quality and delivery reliability. In doing so, you recognize optimization potentials and risks at an early stage, take appropriate measures and work closely with internal and external partners. In addition, you actively contribute your expertise and support the continuous development of our shopping processes and the purchasing team.

With us you not only take responsibility for existing ones, but you have to actively shape the free space, structures and processes, develop shopping strategies and implement your own ideas You take the independent responsibility for your suppliers and sources of supply – from operational procurement to strategic development You ensure the reliable operational performance of your procurement while developing sustainable procurement strategies for your responsibility You conduct price, contract and contract negotiations and achieve sustainable economic results You develop the supplier pool in terms of cost, quality and delivery reliability and ensure a stable supply You analyze markets, cost structures and supplier performance, identify optimization and saving potentials and risks at an early stage and take appropriate measures You take responsibility for achieving defined purchasing goals and KPIs in your area of responsibility You work closely with internal areas of expertise, support cross-sector projects and contribute your expertise to the further development of shopping

You have several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally as a senior or strategic buyer You bring profound experience in supplier management and independent management of supplier relationships with You feel safe in leading price, contract and contract negotiations Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking and a good understanding of cost structures and procurement markets are of course for you You have a strong sense of responsibility and an independent, structured way of working You are strong in both German and English and have a good negotiating skills You are used to work operationally hands-on while developing your responsibility strategically You are happy to share your expertise in the team and support others professionally
