Plant electrician (m/f/d)

As one of the leading locations of Schmitz Cargobull, we develop and manufacture approximately 6,000 commercial vehicles at the production site Gotha annually, such as tilting vehicles, motor vehicles and special vehicles. The dumpers and trucks with the blue elephant stand for reliability and innovation.

Tasks • Analyzing and diagnosing errors using diagnostic systems and specifying disturbances on stationary and mobile systems • Developing and implementing measures to avoid errors and defects in the future • Determining the nature and extent of the disorder and damage elimination to determine appropriate dates • Exchange of defective equipment and components • Implementation of maintenance, inspection and repair work on equipment • Perform disassembly, transport and assembly of complex systems • Create control cabinets with electromechanical design according to specifications • Correcting schematics and forwarding for documentation

Profile • Complete professional training as an electronic technician for industrial engineering or comparable knowledge and skills • Experience in the repair of machinery and equipment and in metal processing • Knowledge of welding technologies, Crane certificate/Share of advantage • Handicraft skill • Flexibility and initiative • Structured and systematic work • Team skills • Safe and confident appearance • Ready to use in the three-layer system, weekend rates
