Technical Buyer / Cost Engineer Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

Target costing by make-or-buy analyses, benchmark calculations and target price analyses, to enforce target prices for components and assemblies Design-to-Cost & Manufacturing Optimization: Analyzing complex technical drawings from plant engineering, questioning constructions for their production accuracy and identifying more cost-effective alternatives Responsible for strategic and operational purchasing of components and assemblies for park systems with a focus on sustainable cost reduction while maintaining or improving quality Identification and implementation of potential savings in existing products and suppliers Analysis of components, drawings and specifications for technical and commercial evaluation Development and qualification of new suppliers as an alternative to existing sources of supply Implementation of price comparisons, benchmarks and make-or-buy analyses Negotiation of prices and conditions and conclusion of framework and individual contracts Implementation of supplier audits and assessments (quality, cost, delivery capacity) Close cooperation with design and technology to optimize components (cost engineering)

Technical training or technical studies with commercial understanding Professional experience in the technical purchasing of a manufacturing company Very good technical understanding as well as the ability to read, evaluate and critically question technical drawings Expressed business and analytical numerical understanding Experience in price negotiations, supplier management and cost optimization negotiation skills as well as a pronounced cost and efficiency awareness Improve the optimum from product costs and manufacturing efficiency Keep in touch with internal developers and suppliers at eye level about tolerances and manufacturing processes Analytical Thinking Power, Enforcement Strength and Structured Operation Independent and targeted mode of operation Secure handling of ERP systems and MS Office Good knowledge of English
