The sole shareholder of GRN is the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, the economic responsibility lies with the GRN management.

Advice to hospital management in all questions of hospital hygiene and infection prevention Management of the Surveillance System (implementation of §23 para. 4 IfSG) and evaluation and development of consequences feedback of results and analyses to function units (including development of prevention objectives) Continuous analysis of scientific findings on infection prevention Communication partner or interface to supervisory authorities (e.g. Public Health Service (ÖGD)) Hospital hygiene training of employees Assessment and consulting in the procurement and processing of medical devices, materials Auditing and location Moderation and communication in the context of outbreak and crisis management, possibly Public relations Advice on hygienic questions regarding the prevention of infection or in construction planning, construction design Participation in local working groups or commissions and participation in external networks (e.g. municipal or supraregional MRE networks) Participation in the optimization of antibiotic therapies in the sense of ABS Cross-site cooperation with our four clinics in the GRN association based in Schwetzingen
