Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Dresden As part of the analytics team, you carry out complex analyses independently and independently for error localization on mixed-signal semiconductor chips. You create a laboratory-friendly and component-specific setup for electrical control and failure verification. Use typical laboratory equipment such as voltage sources, multimeters, function generator and oscilloscope. For more complex failure patterns, you are able to replicate the electrical failure behavior with the help of an automated test system and to adapt the test conditions to the analysis boundary conditions. To limit errors, use semi-conductor-typical optical localization methods (lock-in Thermography, Photon emission microscopy, OBIRCH, Laser-Voltage method). In this case, you are able to transfer their measurement results into the affected circuit areas, derive fault hypotheses and verify them by suitable further analysis steps. Their goal is a sufficiently precise defect limitation, which enables successful physical preparation and visualization. You are responsible for the quality and timely processing of your analyses and are professional contact persons for your clients. If necessary, you will advise on the analytical possibilities and represent your analysis results in in interdisciplinary teams.

Qualification: successfully completed study of electrical engineering or a closely related study programme with an electrotechnical focus Experiences and know-how: multiannual experience in analog circuit technology of integrated circuits, e.g. by IC design or verification, experience with fault localization techniques for integrated circuits (photon emission microscopy, thermal localization, laser transit method), experience with measuring laboratory equipment and automated semiconductor test systems Personality: collaborative, team-ready, communication-strong, resilient, flexible Working method: responsible, structured, independent, solution- and customer-oriented, hand-on-mediality for laboratory work Languages: good German and English skills
