Accountant (m/f/d)

Your main tasks include accounting in the area of debitors and creditors. You compile debitor accounts and account for debitor and creditor accounts by cost types and cost centers. In addition, you are responsible for the accounting of due debitor and creditor items, including the verification of payment receipts and the preparation of payment statements. The ongoing care and clarification of debitor and creditor accounts as well as the implementation of balance agreements also fall within your responsibility. You will also process down payment and final invoices and process accounting workflows in both accounting circles (1000 and 2000). As a central contact person for receivable management, check receivables and liabilities, clarify complex facts and act as an interface between the specialist departments, the legal department and the central office. Another focus of your activity is the mapping and classification of various business incidents. You undertake tax assessments of different performances, for example in connection with construction services according to § 13b UStG, the differential taxation and lease and use contracts from road management or the acquisition of land. In addition, in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts in sub-areas, you are involved in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Code (HGB) and the tax law, such as the Corporate Tax Act (KStG) and the Tax Code (AO). The core content of the procurement law is applied consistently to any business incident and ensure the correct allocation to the respective accounting circles in accordance with internal guidelines.

You have a completed accounting professional training, ideally with a further qualification in accounting, or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience. We require several years of professional experience in finance or accounting. Good user knowledge in SAP, in particular in the modules FI, CO and MM, are desirable for this position. In addition, you are familiar with good knowledge of the Commercial Code (HGB) as well as tax law, in particular the Income Tax Act (EStG), the Tax Code (AO) and the VAT Act (UStG), and are familiar with compliance directives as well as accounting policies in budgetary, civil and enforcement law.
