We are looking for you as a specialist (m/w/d) for microbiology, virology and infection epidemiology for our Institute of Microbiology and Hospital Hygiene The Institute of Microbiology and Hospital Hygiene provides the Carl-Thiem Clinic, as well as increasingly external hospitals and outpatient senders. According to DAkkS, the institute is repeatedly successfully accredited and includes all modern methods of investigation for the identification and resistance testing of microorganisms including TB laboratory, an infectious serology, a modern molecular biology including NGS, a hygiene water laboratory as an approved testing laboratory and drinking water testing site of the state of Brandenburg, as well as tasks in hospital hygiene. Your Responsibility Area o Technical Responsibility especially in Bacteriology o Diagnostic-infectiological advice of the sending clinics and practices o Takeover of diagnostic-infectiological station visions and active cooperation in the ABS team (ABS qualification should therefore be best already available) o After processing use and testing as well as continuous updating of required algorithms in the software used (u. if necessary also practical cooperation at the reading places o participation in weekend services and readiness to call o co-responsibility for the professional and personal development of MTs and students.
