IT Architect

At the next time, we are looking for you as an IT architect:in (w/m/d) for DB Systemtechnik GmbH at the location Berlin, Leipzig or Munich. Your tasks:

Takeover of technical project management for customer projects and responsibility for IT architecture in these projects Your system solutions and IT architectures tune with the lead architect You develop ideas to keep the IT security of your architecture up-to-date and meet the latest IT security requirements and regulations Together with internal and external stakeholders: within the context of incident problem, change and release management, you can secure stable client and system operation Own-responsible analysis and elimination of complex system-wide problems including verification and testing directly on the train / equipment Conception, construction and further development of virtualized service environments based on VMware Workstation taking into account the dependencies between host operating system, virtual hardware and guest operating systems for operating service applications You work with the integration of applications on rail vehicles into your system solution and work independently in software applications from rail vehicles (e.g. ETCS)

Your profile:

You are a computer scientist:in, engineer:in or natural scientist:in (focus on mathematics / physics) or have successfully completed a comparable technical study Experience as an IT architect or in the technical project management in complex IT system landscapes More years of experience with a wide range of operating systems, from legacy systems (e.g. Windows XP) to current Windows Knowledge of virtualization technologies (in particular VMware Workstation) Good knowledge of Enterprise Client Management (Intune and Active Directory), Network Architecture and Scripting (e.g. PowerShell) Experience in Troubleshooting of Complex System Landscapes (Software, Hardware and Interfaces to OT) Structured, independent operation and high problem-solving competence Negotiating German and good English skills as well as readiness to travel to our customers: inside our ICE-Werke (Germany) you bring with you
