She is a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG. The Portfolio Management & ALM division in Stuttgart provides, among other things, standardised methods and processes for determining credit risk provision according to IFRS 9 and is also responsible for risk reporting, risk management and economic capital for the global Mercedes-Benz Financial Services companies. The maintenance and further development of risk indicators, methods and databases as a prerequisite for the standardization and digitization of the risk provision calculation are the main activities of our department. These challenges come to you: You support the calibration and validation of applied statistical models for the calculation of value adjustment according to IFRS 9 You support the development and introduction of software applications for advanced simulations and forecasts You are responsible for tasks focusing on the design, implementation and application of statistical methods to further improve our calibration and validation processes You develop and test tools based on SAS, Python, VBA or Power BI The activity can begin from April 2026.

You are a student of (economic) computer science, (economic) mathematics, business administration or comparable training You are motivated to use your analytical, programming and conceptual skills. You like to work with large amounts of data You have acquired knowledge in MS Office as well as programming experience in SQL, VBA, SAS, Python or the visualization in Power BI Knowledge of risk management-related issues such as the International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS 9 and statistical data analyses are advantageous You are motivated to work in an international and multicultural team. You master English in word and writing. German knowledge is advantageous You work motivated, conscientious and independent and have strong communication skills Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
