Number: MER0003JGI The Mercedes-Benz eCampus in Untertürkheim is a state-of-the-art research and development centre that focuses on the future of electromobility. In the Industrial Cell Lab, we work on an industrial scale on the development and optimization of lithium-ion battery cells that form the heart of our electric vehicles. Electrode production is a central component and plays a decisive role in battery cell production. We use state-of-the-art technologies and innovative methods to continuously improve the performance and quality of our batteries. These challenges include: Working on individual process steps Conducting laboratory activities to investigate and optimize manufacturing processes Analysis and evaluation of test results Supporting the team in developing new processes and technologies

Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or a comparable degree course Interests in electromobility and battery technologies First experiences in the laboratory environment are of advantage Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Analytical thinking and strategic working Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
