Head of Department Monitoring and Control Processes (m/f/d)

Technical and disciplinary management of the Control Department (personal responsibility of about 20 employees) Planning, coordination and monitoring of all engineering works in the field of chemistry, nuclear material control and event events Ensuring regular, standardised analysis and evaluation of samples (e.g. concrete, water) from rebuilding processes in various laboratory areas (gas, water, special, environmental, radiochemical laboratories) Responsibility for compliance with all radiation protection and environmental monitoring requirements Planning, procurement and supervision of analysis and monitoring metrology Quality assurance and approval of measurement results and analyses Compilation and control of technical reports, assessments and technical opinions for internal and external recipients (e.g. supervisory authorities, reviewers, approval bodies) Participation in the preparation and revision of operating and operating rules, in particular with regard to monitoring measures Technical interface to other organizational units, experts and authorities Cooperation with radiation protection in the dosimetric monitoring of personnel Acquisition of interface coordination in complex cooperation and coordination processes within and outside the plant Promotion and motivation of employees in personal and professional development Accountability and Budget Control Preparation and management of specialist discussions and consultations

Qualifications Completed university studies at master or diploma level – e.g. in chemistry, physics, environmental technology, radiation protection, process engineering or a comparable scientific and technical field Knowledge and experience Expertise in laboratory analysis and environmental experience desirable Multiannual leadership experience of technical teams, ideally in the nuclear field or in a company with high safety standards First knowledge of the relevant legal, regulatory and radiation protection regulations (e.g. StrlSchG, StrlSchV, AtG) would be advantageous, but can also be acquired in a professional context.
